Awesome Botti Concert
The Birchmere concert on Friday, November 22, blew us away. We have seen North Carolina A&T Aggies Football at the Kennedy Center, twice at The Blue Note NYC, with Josh Groban at the Giant Center, and at Wolftrap. His guest performers were stellar and everything at the Birchmere was perfect! Who wouldn’t want to hear beautiful classics as well as Caroline Campbell play Kashmir? Sy Smith was so animated, in her hometown, and her singing was awe inspiring. The fabulous Andy Spitzer on saxophone and the young tenor Jonathan Johnson were wonderful as well. Each of them truly played to a rapturous audience. Chris’ band were terrific. We have enjoyed each concert. What a glorious night!
